PRIMA: PRoject for labour integration of MigrAnts
THINKING BEFORE THE AFTER

PRIMA was a complex  and multi-stakeholder project aiming at encouraging the social and labour inclusion of non-EU citizens and refugees. It involved institutions, professionals of the reception system and territorial services, professionasl of job centres, companies.
Ceipiemonte was an active stakeholder working on the project with the aim to involve Piedmontese companies and foster the matching between labour demand and supply.

Beneficiaries: 

•    Companies and labour market organizations
•    Professionals in the field of immigration and work
•    Migrants and their associations

Ceipiemonte actions:

Survey on the Labour Market - mapping out of the presence of immigrant workers and trainees, companies' hiring needs, way of contacts with migrant/refugee candidates, critical issues and opportunities of working inclusion of non-EU citizens/refugees. Tools used: questionnaire and semi-strctured interviews

Raising awareness of the business world on immigration and work - focus groups, info and training meetings, round tables, peer-to peer events and workshops on exchange of good practices, relevant legislation and job opportunities for migrants and refugees.

Creation of a stakeholder network to facilitate the meeting between business demand and labour supply of immigrants and protection holders
