Incentives & Grants
Piemonte encourages and facilitates the arrival of new investments thanks to a rich financial support system.
The subsidy system in Piemonte focuses both on the start-up of new initiatives, and the development of existing companies. The subsidies, which can take the form of soft loans, non-repayable grants or free-of-charge guarantees, support companies according to the European regulation on state aid and can vary according to the type of beneficiary, the kind of investment and the nature of expenses.
Piemonte is the first Italian region to have created a dedicated financial tool for attracting and financing foreign companies willing to locate in Piemonte: the so-called Regional Investment Contract.
ROP ERDF is the main support for Regione Piemonte goals: maintain and develop existing industrial companies, widen their investments on regional territory, attract new global players.
