EXPERIENCE PIEMONTE - PERFORMING UNIQUENESS
Experience Piemonte: Performing Uniqueness returned to La Venaria Reale on November 12 and 13, 2024, gathering over 110 international operators from around the world to engage directly with the diverse expressions of Piemonte luxury. Designed as a premier showcase of Made in Piemonte, Experience Piemonte: Performing Uniqueness highlighted the region’s manufacturing excellence across the furniture, design, fashion and accessories, jewelry, textiles, food, cosmetics, and wellness sectors, further enriched by the world of hypercars and supercars. Following the success of the first Hypercar Event edition in 2023, the luxury automotive segment joined Experience Piemonte: Performing Uniqueness, providing guests with a comprehensive view of elegance, innovation, and craftsmanship merging into unique creations that represent a continual pursuit of excellence.
The event was organized under the Integrated Supply Chain Projects (Progetti Integrati di Filiera - PIF) “Fashion – Luxury - Design,” “Agrifood,” “Textile,” “Health & Wellness,” “Automotive & Transportation,” “Mechatronics,” and “Aerospace,” promoted by Regione Piemonte, co-funded by the PR FESR 2021-2027, and carried out by Piemonte Agency, with support from the Torino Chamber of commerce for the Hypercar segment.
In its third edition, Experience Piemonte: Performing Uniqueness brought together 107 Piemonte-based companies specializing in high-end consumer goods, connecting them with over 70 international buyers and operators from Europe, the USA, Canada, the Gulf countries, and Southeast Asia, totaling around 800 B2B meetings.
For the Hypercar Event, over 500 meetings took place for 47 buyers representing 23 renowned international brands interested in the 70 Piemonte-based companies operating in this luxury sector. This segment, experiencing significant growth in recent years, is projected to reach $132.64 billion by 2029. Leaders from institutions and top luxury companies in Piemonte shared insights and perspectives on the future. At the core of the event was an exhibition path showcasing a selection of products that exemplified Piemonte’s manufacturing excellence, emphasizing quality, uniqueness, and Italian creativity, along with a display of eight hypercars designed, engineered, and produced in Piemonte: GFG Kangaroo by GFG Style; Aspark Owl by MAT - Manifattura Automobili Torino; Giulia Alleggerita by Erre Erre Fuoriserie; Evo37 by Kimera Automobili; Battista Edizione Nino Farina by Automobili Pininfarina; Nardone Automotive - The 928 by Podium Advanced Technologies; Hyper Pick-Up Quintessenza by Italdesign; and Totem GT Electric by Totem Automobili Srl.

Andrea Tronzano, Regional Councillor for Productive Activities and Internationalization for Regione Piemonte, emphasized, “Piemonte invests in its excellence in a concrete way through various initiatives. Here is an example of the great potential of our companies and the skills and ingenuity of our entrepreneurs. The difference is always made by people who bring their artistic and inventive abilities to these sectors, but actions also play a crucial role: the calls issued by Regione Piemonte to increase competitiveness as part of the PR FESR 2021-2027. In particular, the call for SMEs wishing to join the Integrated Supply Chain Projects (PIF), which will open in a few days, not only supports events like Venaria, which brings buyers to Piemonte, but also accompanies our companies into international markets. For this reason, the funding for 2025 across all sectors will be increased. Other calls, such as 'Digitization and Production Efficiency' and 'Attracting and Stimulating Investments in the Territory,' have allocated a total of €85 million to SMEs, receiving applications totaling over €100 million. The first edition of the SWICH call, dedicated to research, development, and innovation activities, allocated €80 million and received applications totaling over €110 million. The second edition of the SWICH call is currently open, with an additional €80 million. In 2025, a voucher for obtaining certifications, including environmental and ESG, will be available to companies in Piemonte. These certifications are key for the competitiveness of the region’s high-end luxury sectors.”
Dario Gallina, President of the Torino Chamber of commerce, stated, “The luxury automotive segment represents an extremely valuable niche market that, during these challenging times, shows no signs of slowing down thanks to the ability of our companies to meet the demands of customization, design, engineering, and innovation required by the most exclusive clientele, which seeks unique high-end products in Made in Italy. After the success of the first edition, it is significant that Torino and Piemonte, where one-third of Italy’s automotive turnover is generated, are once again organizing the Hypercar Event within an even broader, more prestigious setting like Experience Piemonte. Our commitment continues, both in attracting investments through ongoing dialogues with major international players and in promoting B2B events such as VTM Michigan next year and VTM in Torino in 2026.”
Paolo Bertolino, Secretary General of Unioncamere Piemonte, added, “The Italian luxury sector is a fundamental pillar of the national economy, generating wealth, employment, and promoting the excellence of our products worldwide. Enhancing the strategic role of this sector and promoting its international image is essential for our region as well: together, we must protect and promote the craftsmanship of our companies and entrepreneurs. It is also crucial to invest in young talent and support luxury companies in the continuous training of their employees and the adoption of flexible, innovative organizational models: this is the real way to invest in the future of our country and to consolidate the leadership of Made in Italy and Made in Piemonte abroad.”
Dario Peirone, President of Piemonte Agency, noted, “The over 110 buyers at this third edition of Experience Piemonte are a clear signal of the importance of this event, which highlights the luxury excellence of our region. This year, the event is further enriched by the inclusion of Hypercars, with 40 buyers representing 23 international brands we invited to Piemonte to foster direct connections with Piemonte’s luxury brands, creating greater business opportunities. The event is part of Piemonte Agency’s strategy, which, with contributions from its members, particularly Regione Piemonte and the Torino Chamber of Commerce, supports the international promotion of Piemonte companies. More than 700 SMEs from the sectors involved in the event benefit from our support, and through our efforts, they have the opportunity to meet thousands of international buyers in our contact pipeline.”
