Torino, 10 March 2026 - Piemonte is participating in MIPIM in Cannes (9-13 March 2026), the world’s leading international event dedicated to real estate and urban transformation, which each year brings together more than 20,000 delegates from around 90 countries and serves as a key meeting point for capital, development visions and territorial projects. The region’s participation is organised by Piemonte Agency within the framework of the Investment Attraction Project promoted by the Piemonte Regional Government and all the Piemonte Chambers of Commerce, the Integrated Supply Chain Project “Cleantech & Green Building” of the Piemonte Regional Government, funded by the PR FESR 2021–2027 programme, and the project “Promotional internationalisation initiative in support of the regional production system”, funded by the Piemonte Regional Government.

Piemonte’s presence is part of a structured strategy to attract foreign investment and promote the territory through an integrated approach that combines the attraction of international capital, the promotion of real estate opportunities and the strengthening of regional production chains connected to the real estate sector, supported by regional instruments for competitiveness and internationalisation. This strategy - built on qualified support for investors and on close collaboration between Piemonte Regional Government, all the Piemonte Chambers of Commerce and Piemonte Agency – has received today a significant international recognition: the Financial Times has awarded Piemonte within the framework of the Investment Impact Awards 2026, which recognise foreign investment projects capable of generating the greatest impact on European territories. The specialised publication fDi Intelligence ranked the LVMH investment in the Manifattura Bulgari in Valenza sixth among mid-sized European projects with the most significant economic and territorial impact, confirming the ability of the Piemonte ecosystem to attract high value-added investments and translate them into concrete and lasting development.

A portfolio of more than 6.5 million square metres spread across the entire region is showcased at MIPIM: a synergistic offering where space availability, expertise, sustainability and territorial governance converge into a single value proposition. At the core of the regional offer are more than 60 sites and properties included in the Piemonte Regional Government’s database: 4 million square metres of brownfield sites (already built) and greenfield areas (open land available for any type of development). These include existing buildings ready for regeneration and new areas prepared to host development projects—opportunities designed both for international companies choosing Piemonte as their new operational base and for businesses already established in the region that intend to grow, expand and invest in reuse initiatives, contributing to reduced land consumption and the enhancement of existing assets.
Alongside the regional database, a further 20 opportunities are presented - selected through the Real Estate Partner Program developed by Piemonte Agency as part of the Investment Attraction Project - in the hospitality, student housing and logistics sectors, covering more than 2 million square metres across three strategic asset classes fully aligned with the latest market trends and the evolving dynamics of international demand. In the exhibition area, visitors can also explore the digital platform of Torino Urban Lab, which illustrates the urban transformation processes of Torino and its metropolitan area, with a focus on 188 projects.
Additional development opportunities presented at MIPIM include sites managed by Polo Urbano – Ferrovie dello Stato Group located across the region, including Torino Porta Susa Spina 2, Torino Lingotto Parco della Salute, Torino Oddone Spina 3, Torino Rebaudengo Spina 4 and other areas in municipalities throughout Piemonte. The spotlight is also on the new Master Plan of the City of Torino: a video at the stand illustrates the urban transformation of a city in evolution, attractive to companies, talent and capital, oriented towards regeneration and the reuse of strategic areas. It offers investment opportunities consistent with the ongoing environmental and digital transitions and aligned with a long-term vision of sustainable development.

Piemonte’s participation is not limited to the real estate opportunities presented to potential investors. At MIPIM, 19 companies from the Integrated Supply Chain Project “Cleantech & Green Building” are also present, representing a portfolio of expertise, technologies and advanced solutions for sustainable construction and efficient property management. From urban planning to feasibility studies, from architecture and design to engineering and innovative materials, Piemonte presents itself as a complete cluster capable of supporting developers, investors and builders in the implementation of complex, high-quality projects. Completing the overview is a database collecting the international references of the Piemonte supply chain: more than 110 countries reached across five continents and around 50 projects carried out in 28 countries where regional companies have contributed expertise, services, products and technologies. This mapping demonstrates the high level of internationalisation of the sector and the credibility of the region in global markets, highlighting its versatility across all major asset classes, from residential to commercial and from education to hospitality.

“Piemonte,” state the President of the Piemonte Regional Government Alberto Cirio and Regional Minister for Productive Activities, Internationalisation and Investment Attraction Andrea Tronzano, “is presenting itself at MIPIM with a concrete proposal for international investors: more than 6 million square metres of development opportunities and a public system working in a coordinated way to turn these opportunities into real investments, jobs and growth. The recognition from the Financial Times at the Investment Impact Awards for the LVMH investment in Valenza confirms the credibility of our territory and the ability of Piemonte to attract high-level industrial and real estate projects. Our priority is to attract capital and new companies, generating development and opportunities for the region. Enhancing available sites means strengthening Piemonte’s role as one of the most attractive European hubs for those who choose to invest, produce and innovate.”

“The presence of Piemonte at MIPIM 2026 crowns a collective strategy in which all the Piemonte Chambers of Commerce connect regional planning with the concrete reality of the productive fabric. Presenting more than 6 million square metres of opportunities demonstrates the strength of an ecosystem capable of offering ‘turnkey’ solutions to international investors. The Financial Times award at the Investment Impact Awards 2026 further confirms that the collaboration between the Region, the Chambers of Commerce and Ceipiemonte attracts high value-added capital, as demonstrated by the LVMH case in Valenza. Our objective is to continue transforming the territory into a laboratory of innovation and attractiveness, where international capital finds not only outstanding spaces but also a strong institutional partner and a network of first-class technological suppliers,” comments Massimiliano Cipolletta, President of the Torino Chamber of Commerce and Vice-President of Unioncamere Piemonte.

“MIPIM represents an important opportunity to present to investors and international operators the season of urban transformation that our city is experiencing. The Torino we are building combines attractiveness and innovation with strong attention to sustainability and social inclusion. It is a laboratory where the future is being tested: in the digital transition, sustainable innovation, academic education and culture as a driver of development. The new Master Plan provides the framework within which this change takes shape: a tool that guides development and directs investments towards strategic areas, within a clear urban vision based on quality development, environmental sustainability and the enhancement of infrastructure and metropolitan connections. Being present at MIPIM means bringing this vision into dialogue with the international market and strengthening Torino’s positioning in Europe and globally,” states the Mayor of the City of Torino, Stefano Lo Russo.

“MIPIM is a strategic event for us that, year after year, consolidates Piemonte’s presence in the main international real estate circuits,” comments Dario Peirone, President of Piemonte Agency. “We arrive at this edition after months of work dedicated to building a structured offering around the regional real estate sector and preparing an agenda with more than 50 meetings with international investors and developers, aimed both at attracting new investments and promoting the export of the Piemonte supply chain. This year we have also organised in Cannes a restricted discussion session with a selected group of high-profile investors and operators, including luxury hotel chains and international players from France, the United States, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Czech Republic. These contacts were developed through a targeted lead generation activity that further strengthens Piemonte’s international positioning.”
