Piemonte at the forefront of sustainable mobility with Dumarey's innovative propulsion systems.

Founded in Belgium in 1983, the Dumarey Group, formerly known as the Punch Group, is a world leader in the development, integration and production of high-performance propulsion systems for the automotive industry. In 2020, as a result of global business expansion, the company opened new branches also in Italy – Dumarey Automotive Italia, Dumarey Propulsion Solutions and Dumarey Softronix in Piemonte, and Dumarey Flowmotion Technologies Srl in Tuscany - where now employs around 2,000 people.

The project in Piemonte

Piemonte and its capital Torino are renowned as the beating heart of the Italian automotive industry with a complete ecosystem strongly committed to the development of new green and cutting-edge mobility solutions.

Recognising the territory's role in technology and innovation, the Dumarey Group chose to start from Piemonte for its investment project in Italy, with the aim of accelerating its international growth in sustainable mobility.

The establishment began with the acquisition of the General Motors Global Propulsion Systems site in Torino, currently specialising in the engineering of innovative propulsion systems and control solutions, employing around 800 people of 12 different nationalities, with a percentage of female workers of around 20%.
