The project in Piemonte

Yaskawa Italia is the branch that represents the Robotics & Drives and Motion & Controls divisions of the group and has been operating since 1994 in Orbassano (TO), Buccinasco (MI) and Modena, employing a total of around 100 employees and generating a yearly turnover of almost 60 million euros. Historically, Torino represents the Italian cradle of the automotive industry, a sector in which the use of robotics reaches its peak, reason why the Italian HQ, inaugurated in 2015, is based in Orbassano. It is here that the robots dedicated to Italian integrators are set up and it is also here that the Yaskawa Academy, a training center on basic and advanced robotics and the main applications, is located. Yaskawa Space Italy, a Tech area related to the Academy where events dedicated to the world of automation take place, was also inaugurated in 2022.
